Prof. Govind Rao
Designation: Director, Center for Advanced Sensor Technology, UMBC, MD, USA.
Research:
Dr. Rao’s research has focused on applications of fluorescence spectroscopy to bioprocess engineering. His lab has developed next-generation sensors for low-cost non-invasive monitoring of oxygen, pH and pCO2 in bioreactors.

Prof. Noriyoshi Matsumi
Designation: Professor, School of Material Sciences, Japan Advances Institute of Science and Technology, Japan.
Research: Prof, Matsumi and his team are challenging research fields of high social demand such as lithium ion batteries and solar cells by means of hetero-atom chemistry.

Prof. Lakshminarayanan
Designation: Professor, Soft condensed Matter Laboratory, Raman Research Institute, Bangalore.
Research focus: Self-assembled monolayers of organic thiol molecules on gold; Scanning probe microscopy- Instrumentation and applications; Nanocomposites -Physical studies of nanoparticles doped Discotic/lyotropic liquid crystalline systems; Electron transfer processes in lyotropic systems; Nanomaterials dispersed conducting polymers as electrocatalysts.

Dr. Koushik Venkatesan
Designation: Associate Prof. in Chemistry,
Macquarie University, Australia
Research: His research broadly focuses on organic and organometallic materials chemistry. It involves the rational design and creation of novel molecular and macromolecular structures for light emitting devices (energy to light conversion), solar cells (light to energy conversion) and molecular electronic applications.
Prof. C Subramaniam
Designation: Assistant Prof., Department of Chemistry,
Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai.
Research:
Dr. Subbu’s research interests can be termed as "application-directed fundamental research" on the properties and behavior of materials in the nano-dimension. Specifically, I am interested to understand the transport properties (electrical, thermal and mass) of one-dimensional and two-dimensional nanomaterials such as carbon nanotubes, graphene, inorganic layered materials and their doped variations.
